Course standards

Adaptive diving

Become a top-level diver!

If you want to make the most of your bottom time and enjoy your dives more, try diving with a scooter or a dive propulsion vehicle (DPV). In this program you will learn the concepts and skills you need to safely plan and conduct dives using scooters or DPVs.

How is the course developed?

To be able to access the theoretical part of the course, you must pay €100 in registration, the rest of the course will be paid at the end.

You can do the theory online
comfortably in your home and when it is finished, we will specify the dates for the practices in the water.

If you do not have your SSI profile, you can create it here or we will create it for you.

Sessions

We will do 6 confined water sessions (swimming pool) and 4 open water sessions.
The first two open sea dives will be no deeper than 12 meters and the last two will be no deeper than 18 meters.

Certification

With all this and the final exam, you will obtain your OPEN WATER DIVER diving certification

Previous requirements

The minimum age to participate in the Open Water course is 10 years old.
It is also essential to know how to swim and be in good physical shape.

Course duration

This course lasts approximately 3 or 4 days. The minimum training time in open water is 80 minutes, but it is normal for us to do a minimum of 120 minutes spread over 4 sessions.

We collaborate and provide logistical support to the OCTOPUS association for the conservation of the seabed of Tarifa Island.

OCTOPUS TARIFA is a non-profit association that is interested in the conservation of the seabed of the Island of Tarifa, which is within the Strait of Gibraltar Natural Park.
In addition to beach cleanups and awareness talks at schools, we monitor the bottom of the island daily with the support of LEONMARINO and its divers, collecting plastics and abandoned fishing gear and reporting any incident observed to the Natural Park.
