Las Palomas Island
Ideal place for diving in Cádiz
It owes its name to the “Don Juan”, incorrectly called San Andrés, a steamship that made the Malaga-Seville route and that sank in the mid-19th century, of which we can perfectly observe the side blades that moved it.
Deep dive, between 8-30m in the Mediterranean Sea.
We start with a buoy and descent line placed by the Natural Park. Depth at the bottom 14m. There is also the possibility of free descent, with a depth of 8m.

With about 12 diving spots around the island, for all levels with depths between 3 meters and 40 meters and, mainly, full of life. A special enclave within the Estrecho Natural Park with a unique biodiversity.
Profile
The dive takes place from the moment we leave the anchorage until 22m, where the remains of the wreck appear everywhere. We can see the deck, parts of the engine and the bridge. You can see countless marine life in small holes on the boat, schools of three-tailed fish, octopuses, different crustaceans, nudibranchs, electric rays, snappers, dentex, moray eels, conger eels and occasionally groupers and sunfish.

We dive every day with small groups by level, open and advanced, minimum 2 groups. We do not make forecasts, we organize ourselves according to the state of the sea every day and every moment.

All our instructors have training endorsed by SSI Scuba Schools International and are in Teaching Status and have professional insurance. We have all the safety and hygiene measures with antivirus and antibacterial protocol, first aid kit and oxygenation on the boat and in the store.

BREATHE DEEPLY. The air we breathe is the most important and fundamental part of our diving equipment. Our BAUER-certified charging station only fills bottles with PURE AIR. Free of moisture, oil, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. We are the only diving center in Tarifa with PURE-AIR certification</ a>.
We collaborate and provide logistical support to the OCTOPUS association for the conservation of the seabed of Tarifa Island.
OCTOPUS TARIFA is a non-profit association that is interested in the conservation of the seabed of the Island of Tarifa, which is within the Strait of Gibraltar Natural Park.
In addition to beach cleanups and awareness talks at schools, we monitor the bottom of the island daily with the support of LEONMARINO and its divers, collecting plastics and abandoned fishing gear and reporting any incident observed to the Natural Park.
