Adaptive diving

HORIZON semi-closed circuit diving

Learn to dive no decompression with an SCR rebreather with SSI’s SCR Diving program. This Extended Range program is a complete introduction to the use of rebreathers, SCR technology and everything related to setting up the equipment, pre-checks, planning the dive and the procedure to follow if a failure occurs. SSI’s SCR Diving program teaches you how to safely dive with the Mares Horizon rebreather down to 30 meters and is the perfect introduction to SCR diving. With this rebreather certification, you will be able to dive longer and deeper than ever before. Become a competent and well-prepared autonomous SCR diver today with SSI.

How is the course developed?

To be able to access the theoretical part of the course, you must pay €100 in registration, the rest of the course will be paid at the end.

The theory will be online and in person.

If you do not have your SSI profile, you can create it here or we will create it for you.

Sessions

By paying the registration you will have access to the course in your SSI profile.

When you finish the theory, contact us to schedule the two water sessions, whenever you prefer. We adapt to your schedules.

Certification

In the end, you will receive your SCR DIVING certification from SSI. Then you can upgrade to XR SCR DIVING and dive up to 40 meters with your HORIZON

Previous requirements

Have more than 24 dives, Deep Diving certification and Nitrox 40% certification

We collaborate and provide logistical support to the OCTOPUS association for the conservation of the seabed of Tarifa Island.

OCTOPUS TARIFA is a non-profit association that is interested in the conservation of the seabed of the Island of Tarifa, which is within the Strait of Gibraltar Natural Park.
In addition to beach cleanups and awareness talks at schools, we monitor the bottom of the island daily with the support of LEONMARINO and its divers, collecting plastics and abandoned fishing gear and reporting any incident observed to the Natural Park.
