The Diver Stress & Rescue SSI provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify stress, prevent accidents, and handle common emergency situations that recreational divers may encounter.

How is the course developed?

To be able to access the theoretical part of the course, you must pay €100 in registration, the rest of the course will be paid at the end.

Online theory

You can do the theory online
comfortably in your home and when it is finished, we will specify the dates for the practices in the water.

If you do not have your SSI profile, you can create it here or we will create it for you.

Sessions

By paying the registration you will have access to the course in your SSI profile.
When you finish the theory, contact us to schedule the two water sessions, whenever you prefer. We adapt to your schedules.

Certification

With all this and the final exam, you will obtain your SSI specialty certificate from STRESS & RESCUE.

Curso stress and rescue

Previous requirements

Have an OWD diving certification or equivalent.
Medical certificate of fitness for diving or responsible medical declaration.
First aid and CPR course React Right or similar course less than two years old.
Diving insurance in force.

Course duration

This course lasts approximately 10-15 hours, depending on whether the theory is in person or online.
This course includes three training dives in confined water and 3 in open water.

What is included?

Digital access to the full program. Diving insurance for the duration of the course.

Course registration and digital certification.

You can use your own equipment or rent it for €15 per day (Buoy included).
If you don’t have insurance, we will do it for you.

In order to be certified in STRESS & RESCUE, you first need your first aid certification like our REACT RIGHT

All our instructors have training endorsed by SSI Scuba Schools International and are in Teaching Status and have professional insurance. We have all the safety and hygiene measures with antivirus and antibacterial protocol, first aid kit and oxygenation on the boat and in the store.

BREATHE DEEPLY. The air we breathe is the most important and fundamental part of our diving equipment. Our BAUER-certified charging station only fills bottles with PURE AIR. Free of moisture, oil, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. We are the only diving center in Tarifa with PURE-AIR certification</ a>.

We collaborate and provide logistical support to the OCTOPUS association for the conservation of the seabed of Tarifa Island.

OCTOPUS TARIFA is a non-profit association that is interested in the conservation of the seabed of the Island of Tarifa, which is within the Strait of Gibraltar Natural Park.
In addition to beach cleanups and awareness talks at schools, we monitor the bottom of the island daily with the support of LEONMARINO and its divers, collecting plastics and abandoned fishing gear and reporting any incident observed to the Natural Park.
